Swimming at Nationals

Three Auglaize-Mercer Family YMCA (AMFY) Waves swim team will compete this week at the YMCA Long Course Nationals being held in Greensboro, North Carolina. Wave swimmers competing are, from left, Jackson Newcomb (Celina) Bella Bucio (Botkins) and Andy Jiang (New Bremen). Newcomb will compete in the 50-yard freestyle, 100 freestyle, 50 breaststroke and 100 breaststroke. Bucio will compete in the 50 backstroke, 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke and Jiang will comete in the 50 butterfly, 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, 200 individual medley and 200 freestyle.
