Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Ronald Dorsten
Ronald "Bud" J. Dorsten, 81, of rural Wapakoneta, OH died 4:45 a.m. Saturday September 9, 2023 at his residence.
He was born February 25, 1942 in St. Marys, OH to Clarence and Melba (Burd) Dorsten. On April 22, 1961 he married Mildred "Millie" L. Krugh, who died December 9, 2022.
Survivors include: son Ronald J. Dorsten, Jr. of Wapakoneta, OH; son David Dorsten of Wapakoneta, OH; daughter Janel (Jody) Frazier of Celina, OH; 11 grandchildren 25 great-grandchildren; brother Daniel (Jean) Dorsten of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: father Clarence Dorsten; mother Melba Dorsten-Lowery; son Terry Dorsten; granddaughter LaRae Dorsten; brother James Dorsten.
He retired from Roundy's (Scot Lad Foods) in Lima, OH after many years of service. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, bow hunting, squirrel hunting and cutting firewood.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday September 14, 2023 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.
Visitation 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home on High Street.
