4 area schools earn Ohio's top 5-star ratings

  Four area school districts earned five stars on their Ohio School Report Card for the 2022-2023 school year, the highest possible rating indicating a significant surpassing of state standards.

The Grand Lake half-marathon will be run from St. Marys to Celina Saturday morning, in its ninth year and second year as the featured race along the lake.
Fort Wayne's Hiroki Tokunaga won last year in a time of 1:22:07, about a minute ahead of the second-place finisher. The record was set in 2017, when Utah's Jared Ward crossed the line in 1:10.52. [More]

NEW BREMEN - School board members on Wednesday evening passed an emergency resolution to award a $76,000 contract to Tiffin Scenic Studios to repair and replace stage equipment in the high school auditorium.
FORT RECOVERY - Along with earning a four and a half star rating on its state report card, Fort Recovery Local Schools has another feather to add to its cap - the coveted National Blue Ribbon School.
MONTEZUMA - Though it was a close call, Montezuma will remain a mascot-less village.
