Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Roy Thobe
Roy R. Thobe, age 60 of Maria Stein died Sunday, October 1, 2023 at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima.
He was born October 29, 1962 in Coldwater to Donald & Patty (Schwieterman) Thobe who survive in Maria Stein. Roy is also survived by a son Gabe Simmons of Indianapolis; daughter Shaelynn Thobe of Dayton; siblings and in laws, Sam Thobe of Maria Stein, Nick (Beck) Thobe of Chickasaw, Steve Thobe of Roswell, GA , Carol (Kevin) Stucke of Maria Stein, Amy (Tim) Brandt of Versailles, Gail Stewart of Worthington and Melissa Thobe (Damian Synadinos) of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by brother Barry and sister-in-law Leslie Thobe.
Roy was a math teacher, high school track and football coach at several schools in the Hamilton and Dayton Area. He loved to sing and to dance and was a mentor for many young men.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at St. John Catholic Church in Maria Stein, Ohio. Burial will be at a later date in St. John Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 2 to 8 pm on Wednesday and 9 to 9:45 Thursday at the Hogenkamp funeral home in St. Henry.
