* IMPACTS...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. This may result in rapid changes in road conditions over short distances. Motorists should exercise extra caution.

Marjorie Canary
Marjorie L. Canary, 93, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on November 22, 2023 at Mercer Health in Coldwater.
She was born November 2, 1930 in Celina to the late Arlie and Laveda (Now) Baucher. On March 17, 1951 she married Darlene D. Canary and he preceded her in death on December 26, 1993.
Survivors include her children, Susan (Rolland) Russell, Findlay and Randy (Sue) Canary, Celina; two sisters, Beatrice (Robert) Linn, Rockford and Lois (Howard) Snyder, Perrysburg, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Trisha, Jason, Keith, Jodi, Jessica, Jacob, Lisa and Jared; and seventeen great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Jean (Dave) Delzeith and Cynthia Canary; and a sister, Doris (Gail) Grunden.
Marjorie was a 1948 graduate of Celina Senior High School. She retired from H & R Block in Celina after working for 40 plus years as a tax preparer. She was a member of Mount Carmel Church of God in Celina and the Hopewell Grange in Celina. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, quilting, gardening, canning, and was a passionate homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Visitation hours will be from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Pastor Scott Rowe officiating; where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
