Twila Mock
Twila Mock, age 64, a resident of Dunkirk, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her home in Dunkirk.
Twila was born on June 5, 1959, in Portland, the daughter of James Leroy and Ruth Ellen (Tomlinson) Coons. She worked for Tyson Foods in Portland, Indiana Glass in Dunkirk and was Babysitter for many years. She married Lonnie Mock on August 6, 2001.
Survivors include: Her husband: Lonnie Mock - Dunkirk, Indiana; Her mother: Ruth Ellen Coons - Redkey, Indiana; Children: Christina Teer (husband Matthew) - Dunkirk, Indiana; Telea Wormer (Josh Pitman) - Dunkirk, Indiana; Freedom Green (husband Jesse Mertz) - Ft. Recovery, Ohio; Danney Terwyn - Marion, Indiana; Amber Alexander - Portland, Indiana; Heather Terwyn - North Carolina; Siblings: Leslie Hambrock (Don Cole) - Portland, Indiana; Barbara Reading (husband John) - Dunkirk, Indiana; Jimmy Coons (wife Melody) - Redkey, Indiana; Floyd Coons - Dunkirk, Indiana; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; Uncle and Aunt: Charles "Red" and Sylvia Coons - Redkey, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Leroy Coons, a daughter, Drema Kay Smith and a sister, Deborah Coons.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12-1 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Services to celebrate Twila's life will follow at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
