At 605 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over New Knoxville, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Wapakoneta, St. Marys, Fort Shawnee, New Bremen, Minster, Cridersville, Botkins, New Knoxville, Waynesfield, Moulton, Buckland, Uniopolis, Kettlersville, Fryburg, Lake Loramie State Park, St. Johns, and Bulkhead.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 104 and 118.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Rodney Luecke
Rodney Luecke, 96, of St. Marys, died Monday, December 18, 2023, at his residence.
He was born August 18, 1927, in St. Marys, the son of Virgil and Gladys (Mallory) Luecke. He married Kathryn Youngs on October 18, 1956, and she preceded him in death on February 26, 2012.
He is survived by his two daughters: Mary (Chris) Beane of St. Marys; Jonie (Rick) Kistler of St. Marys. He is also survived by his grandchildren: John (Holly) Beane and Grace Kistler.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Rodney was a 1944 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, and a veteran of the US Army Air Corps. He retired from Meadow Gold Dairy in New Bremen, where he delivered milk. After retirement, he worked for many years at Chief Supermarket. He enjoyed taking drives around the lake, taking his beloved dog to the park, and also watching the Reds, Buckeyes and Roughriders. He was a member of Eagles 767, American Legion 323, and Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 22, 2023, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Father Prashanth Bandanadham, celebrant. Burial rites will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. Thursday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, St. Marys, and from 9:30-10:30 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to Holy Rosary School.
