* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Donna Pearson
Donna Imogene "Gene" Pearson, 94, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne, where she received excellent care by the doctors, nurses, and aides and Transitions Hospice staff.
She was born on September 7, 1929, in Union City, Ohio, to the late Emerson and Kathryn (Metzcar) Willis.
Gene is survived by her daughters, Penny Pearson of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Kathy (Autley) Newton of Loranger, Louisiana; her daughter-in-law, Marcie Pearson of Warsaw, Indiana; her grandson, Drew (Olivia) Pearson of Claypool, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Carter and Caroline; her half-siblings, Cindy Willis of Lakeland, Florida, and Mark (Laura) Willis of Union City, Ohio; her in-law, Charlene Pearson of Fort Recovery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Gene was preceded in death by her husband, Elvan Louis Pearson, whom she married on October 22, 1947, and who passed away on August 16, 1999; her son, Michael Pearson, who passed away on May 2, 2014; her stepmother, Viola "Peg" Willis; her sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Harmon Dunn; her half-sister, Deb Willis; and her in-laws, Emma Mae King, Eugene "Slats" and Barbara Pearson, and Richard Pearson.
Gene was a graduate of Union City High School. As a devoted wife and mother, Gene enjoyed cross stitch embroidery and reading. Her main focus was her family, and she dedicated her life to them.
Guests may visit with Gene's family on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery, where Gene will be laid to rest next to her husband.
