* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional storms will move into the area after midnight, persisting through late Friday morning. Heavy rain can be expected with these storms, with the risk of flash flooding increasing with storms that repeatedly move over the same locations.

Frederick Koenig
Frederick F. Koenig, 65, of St. Marys, died at 8:08 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at Hospice Of Miami County in Troy, Ohio.
He was born May 23, 1958, in Lima, Ohio, the son of Adrian and Marie (Schaub) Koenig.
He is survived by his children: Dustin (Nikki) Koenig of St. Marys; Krista Settlage of Uniopolis; Bronson (fiancee Shelbe Taylor) Koenig of St. Marys; and Keegan Koenig of St. Marys; grandchildren: Nova Koenig; Nevin Koenig; Lanei Settlage; Kemper Settlage; Ozzy Settlage; Iris Koenig; Vivian Kelly, and one grandson on the way, Elijah Koenig; siblings Shirley (Dan) Russ; Mary (Gene) Middleton; Joyce (Paul) Knueve; Pattie (Bob) Ardle; Rita Watrous; Angie Green; Rose Koenig; and Rick Koenig; and his former wife, Kathy Koenig of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Dennis Koenig.
He was a 1977 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. He worked in construction and farming all his life, building all kinds of farm and dairy buildings. He enjoyed traveling, listening to classic rock music, working on business ideas and projects and collecting John Deere equipment.
Funeral rites will be held at noon on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High St., St. Marys. Pastor Eric Anderson, officiant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday at the funeral home.
