At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Luke Dahlinghaus
Luke J. Dahlinghaus, age 69 of Egypt, Ohio, died on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born on February 13, 1954 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Edward A. & Norma M. (Kremer) Dahlinghaus.
He is survived by his sister and her husband, Mary and Rob Delzeith, St. Henry, nieces and nephews: Rob Delzeith, Indianapolis, Denise and Mike Stachler, Coldwater, Ryan and Tiarah Delzeith, St. Henry, and Jil Delzeith, New Bremen; three great nieces and one great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a great niece.
Luke was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt and of the Men's Sodality and had a strong Catholic faith and was always willing to devote his time and energy to the preservation of the St. Joseph Parish and the Egypt community. He was a graduate of Minster High School, Egypt Community Club and was involved with the Maria Stein Grain Company. He was the fourth generation to farm on the family homestead and he assumed the operation of the farm at 16 with the death of his father. He always had a loyal dog as a companion to help on the farm. Along with his love of farming he enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards and cheering on the Cleveland Browns. He was known for his sense of humor, booming voice, and hearty laugh. He looked forward to his daily morning coffee group at Willi's and his Wednesday lunch adventures with his friend Ken. He especially loved spending time with his sister, nieces and nephews and great nieces & great nephew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 from 2 to 5 p.m. and on Monday, Jan. 29 from 9 to 9:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Men's Sodality.
