* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to noon EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. This may result in rapid changes in road conditions over short distances. Motorists should exercise extra caution.

Lynda Parker
Lynda "Joell" (Miller) Parker, 53, of Celina passed away on January 23, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 30, 1970 in Kettering, Ohio to Eva Bess (Coffelt) Miller of Bluffton, Indiana, and the late Joseph A. Miller. On September 14, 2013 she married Charles "Randy" Parker. Together they shared lots of great memories.
Joell worked in Production at Crown Manufacturing in New Breman. She was described as free spirited, unique, and eccentric. Joell enjoyed helping her husband make windchimes, riding on Harley Davidsons, and generally just being outside. Joell loved her "furbabies", her dog "Odie", her cat "Katsy Kline", and she loved butterflies. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her mother and husband, Joell is survived by her step-mother, Pam Miller of Franklin, Ohio; three sons, Joe (Melissa) Cromes, Kenny (Alicia) Cromes, III., and Anthony (Alicia) Cromes all of Ansonia, Ohio; two step-daughters, Ashley (Lance) Hoeppner and Madison Cruz of Fort Wayne, Indiana; daughter-in-law Magen Weldy of Bradford, Ohio; five brothers, Jeff (Missie) Miller of Carlisle, Ohio, Bill Miller of Heath, Ohio, John (Kate) Wright of Nova Scotia, Canada, T. J. (Kristina) Miller of Franklin, Ohio, and C. J. (Tracy) Bryant of Monroeville, Indiana; two sisters, Patty Gates of Sturgis, Michigan, and Cary (Rick) Roehm of Rockford, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Parker, Kaine, K. C., Mary Rose, Carter, Aaliyah, and Scarlett; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Joell was preceded in death by her brother, David Bryant; and her step-father, Charles "Buddy" Bryant.
Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Ketcham Ripley Funeral Home, 111 West First Street, Rockford, Ohio, with Rev. Will Haggis officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 3750 US-33, Rockford, Ohio 45882.
Family and friends will be received from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Tuesday, January 30, 2024, as well as one hour prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joell's memory may be sent to Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation, 12151 Avenue of the Chiefs, Crazy Horse, South Dakota 57730, or to the Mercer County Cancer Society, 218 South Main Street, Celina, Ohio 45822.
