* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 19 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to noon EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. This may result in rapid changes in road conditions over short distances. Motorists should exercise extra caution.

Betty Houser
Betty Houser, age 76, of Rockford, Ohio, passed away on January 24, 2024 at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born July 24, 1947 in Celina to the late Clarence and Dorothy (Dawson) Emerson. On June 5, 1965 she married Larry Houser and he preceded her in death on June 8, 2010.
Other survivors include her children, Melisa Richmond, Celina, Michael (Shelly) Houser, Celina and Matthew Houser, Columbus; eight grandchildren; five step grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and three sisters, Gloria (Fred) Vann, Helen (Stanley) Baker and Suzanne (Arthur) Christie, all of Rockford.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Lehman; two half-brothers, Mike and Jim Emerson.
Betty was 1965 graduate of Parkway High School. She retired from Huffy Bicycle in Celina and Eaton Manufacturing in Van Wert. She was a member of New Horizons Community Church in Rockford.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 11:00 am at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Pastor Ken Meyer officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Rockford.
Memorial contributions can be made in New Horizons Community Church, 833 S. Main St., Rockford, Ohio 45882.
