* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Ross, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected to move through the region Saturday into Saturday night. Given the saturated ground, additional heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding.

Alvie Herzog
Alvie E. Herzog, 53, of St. Marys, Ohio, died at 1:10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at his residence.
He was born June 1, 1970 in St. Marys, Ohio, to Verlious and Joan (Steele) Herzog. On April 16, 2005, he married Mary Lynn Walter, who preceded him in death August 16, 2012.
Survivors include: daughter Shannon (Jordan) Davis of St. Marys, Ohio; son Corey Herzog of Celina, Ohio; grandchildren: Kellen Davis, Knox Davis; parents Verlious and Joan Herzog of St. Marys, Ohio; sister Amy (Jared) Trogdlon of St. Marys, Ohio; sister Lynn (Gary) Spencer of Waynesfield, Ohio; nieces and nephews: Madison Trogdlon, Braedan Trogdlon, Dylan Trogdlon, Ryan Spencer, Chelsea Ball, and Ronnie Rupard II.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1988).
Prior to his illness, he worked as a general laborer. His favorite pastimes included cheering for the Cleveland Browns, gardening and taking meticulous care of his lawn. A "Jack-of-All-Trades", he was able to fix everything. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man who would help anyone in their time of need.
Private family services will be held. Burial will take place in the North Grove Cemetery in Celina, Ohio.
