* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1245 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1003 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

William Baucher
William E. "Billy" Baucher, age 52, of Celina, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was able to give the gift of sight by organ donation.
He was born on June 26, 1971, in Coldwater, to Barry & Patricia (Henderson) Baucher.
Billy is survived by his daughter, Paige (Deccota) Baucher of Lima, ex-wife, Robin Hagaman of Celina, his parents: Barry & Patricia Baucher of Celina, siblings: Amy (Jeff) Heiby of Coldwater, Daniel (Monica) Baucher of Hillsboro, Jeremy Baucher of Celina, and Christy (Mike) Ginter of St. Marys, nephews and nieces: Austin (Katelyn) Heiby, Logan Heiby, Logan Kimmel, CJ Kimmel, Kody (Kam) Heiby, Lilly Powell, Sydney (Darick) Stachler, Megan Baucher, Allison Baucher, Riley Warwick, Teyler Ginter, Isaiah Baucher and Lucas Ginter.
Preceding Billy in death was his son, Cody Baucher, maternal grandparents: Marie & Riley Henderson, paternal grandparents: Ralph & Mary Helen Baucher, and several aunts and uncles.
He was a graduate of Celina High School, Class of 1990. Billy was a talented musician, and played the bass guitar in the "Iz What it Iz" Band, based out of Cridersville. He liked to spend time with his family and friends. Billy was a conversationalist, who could keep you on the phone for hours. He was also a great storyteller.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, March 1, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina, with Pastor Randy Christian officiating. Burial will take place at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Friends may call at the funeral home before services on Friday, from 1 to 3 and 4 to 6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association or to The Kidney Foundation of Ohio.
