Lydia Mescher

Minster

5-10 senior forward

8.6 PPG, 4.2 Rebounds, 2.1 Assists, 1.6 Steals

Mescher's numbers didn't always jump off the page on a deep Wildcats team -- "a team that doesn't have a star," as coach Mike Wiss put it after a win over Fort Recovery -- but she was able to do a little bit of everything and stand out among a host of solid players for Minster.

Mescher scored double-digits nine times, including 22 points against Celina and 17 points in Minster's win over Marion Pleasant at the Hoosier Gym. She also scored 14 to lead the Wildcats in a close loss to regional champion Fort Loramie, and in two games against Midwest Athletic Conference co-champion St. Henry, she scored 32 points.

After the season, she was recognized with first-team All-MAC and second-team All-District 8 honors.
