Agnes Bruns
Agnes M. (Miller) Bruns, 94, Brethren Senior Living, Greenville, Ohio, died of natural causes on Friday, March, 22, 2024.
She was born Mar. 9, 1930, in Coldwater, OH to Joseph and Mary (Hemmelgarn) Miller. On Jan. 13, 1951, she married Stanley J. Bruns, who died Feb. 12, 1992.
Surviving are two sons & three daughters: Richard (Lois), Centerville; Steven (Nancy) Marion, lowa; Mrs. Earl (Geraldine) Hartman, Greenville; Mrs. Kenneth (Karen) Prenger, Coldwater; and Laura Collins, Perry, GA. Also, surviving is: one son-in-law, Richard (Pamela) Wenning, Maria Stein; one brother, Paul (Velma) Miller, Xenia; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Miller; one brother-in-law, Roger Niekamp; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Wenning; four brothers: August, Clem, Walter, and Joseph; three sisters: Barbara Stammen, Loretta Twaits, and Stella Geier.
Agnes was a member of the Auxiliary and Uniform Rank of the Knights of St. John, Maria Stein, a social member of the Chickasaw Veterans of Foreign War Post 9019; and CK of A Cassella.
There will be a private service at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry, with burial following at the St. Bernard's Cemetery in Burkettsville, OH.
