Cynthia McGough
Cynthia "Cindy" McGough, 70, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Versailles Healthcare and Rehab in Versailles, Ohio.
She was born on September 24, 1953, in Portland, Ind., to the late William and Bonnie (Scott) Steveson.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, William McGough, whom she married on August 26, 1976, and who passed away on August 21, 2002; her brother Robert Steveson; and her sister-in-law, Josephina Steveson.
Cindy is survived by her children, Bob McGough of Fort Recovery; Stacey (Terry) Ludwig of Port Jefferson; David McGough of Fort Recovery; and Wallace "Wally" McGough of Celina; her grandchildren, Nick (Erin Koester) McGough and Cheyenne McGough; and her brother, Steve Steveson of Oklahoma.
Cindy was a 1971 graduate of Jay County High School. She spent her life as a housewife, raising her beloved family. In her free time, Cindy enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading, and doing puzzles.
A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery.
Guests may visit with her family on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the start of the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
