Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Lori Brunswick
Lori Ann Brunswick, age 61, of Maria Stein, Ohio, died on Monday, June 3, 2024 at her home in Maria Stein.
She was born on November 20, 1962 in Coldwater to the late Mark P. & Clara A. (Post) Kramer. She married Jay Brunswick on July 12, 1986. He survives in Maria Stein.
She is also survived by children: Nathan Brunswick, Columbus; Jordan Brunswick, Chickasaw; Lauren & Isaac Rindler, St. Henry; grandson Maxwell Rindler; sisters & brother: Linda & Larry Wellman, Ft. Wayne; Jayne & Tom Harrod, Rossburg; Sandy Gilpin, Greenville; Tim & Angie Kramer, Greenville; Krista Oldiges, Russells Point; mother-in-law Shirley Brunswick, Maria Stein; in-laws: Rick & Marlene Brunswick, Forrest, Ohio; Ron & Deb Brunswick, Chickasaw; Linda & Johnny Fleck, Maria Stein; and Lisa & Dave Leunissen, Celina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Paul Brunswick, and brother-in-law, Carl Gilpin.
Lori was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, where she was a lector, Eucharistic minister, and organized the prayer chain. She served as a volunteer for Mercer Health in Coldwater, and delivered meals to homebound parishioners. She was beautiful inside and out, always looking to show love to anyone she encountered.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 1 to 6 p.m. and on Monday, June 10 from 9 to 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Center for Neurological Development, Burkettsville.
