James Zumberge
James N. Zumberge age 79 of Lima, formerly of Chickasaw, Ohio, died on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born on January 27, 1945 in St. Sebastian to the late Nicholas & Adella (Poeppelman) Zumberge. He is survived by rothers & sisters: Mary & Charles Wilker, St. Marys, Rita & Tom McEldowney, Greenville, Marlene & Howard Bruggeman, Maria Stein, Tom & Trygvie Zumberge, Toledo, Ron Zumberge, Arlington, TX, Karen Zumberge, Coldwater, Sharon & Jerry Siegrist, Chickasaw, numerous nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dorothy Zumberge, sister-in-law Rita Zumberge.
James never knew a stranger; he would say hello to everyone. The family would like to thank Bridge Hospice and the nurses at Lima Memorial who took such good care of James during his last days. A thank you also to Trois Parker of Allen County MRDD for all her visits to James and a thank you to all the health care providers.
A Private funeral service will be held at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster and burial will be in Precious Blood Cemetery, Chickasaw. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the donor's charity of choice.   Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
