At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

John Marshal
John S. Marshal, also known as "Number Nine," of North Star, Ohio, died Friday, August 9, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital, in Dayton.
He was born December 28, 1940, in Darke County to the late Leonard and Marie (Gigandet) Marshal. On April 15, 1960, he married Connie (Edwards) Marshal, and they were married until her death September 2, 1999. He later married Karen (Mays) Marshal on March 20, 2023, and Karen survives at their home in North Star.
Also surviving John are a daughter Judy Marshal, a son Tim Marshal, a son-in-law, Mike Anderson, and a stepson Mike. John is also survived by grandchildren Cheyenne Lingo, Chad, Boheimer, Tiffany Marshal, Brittany Marshal, Marcus Marshal, Kimberly Anderson, and John Grice, as well as siblings and in-laws, Joe & Joanne Marshal, Gene Marshal, Marcella Klosterman and Bob Downing.
In addition to his parents and first wife, John is preceded in death by a son Mark Marshal, and a daughter, Diane Anderson, a stepson, Mark, as well as siblings and in-laws, Francis Junior & Mable Marshal, Mary Evelyn & Ernest Adams, Thelma & Willard Speck, Lucille & Lawrence "Bunny" Monnin, and Luella & Rich Lochtefeld.
John served in the US Army for four years and then worked at the former New Idea factory in Coldwater for 38 years. John was a member of the Ansonia American Legion, the Eagles in Celina, he was an avid hunter, turtle trapper, and racing fan. He had also volunteered for the North Star Volunteer Fire Department.
A funeral service for John will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 17, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. Following the funeral service, burial will take place in North Star Cemetery.       Friends may call from 3 to 8 PM on Friday, August 16, or from on 9 AM until the time of service at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry. In Lieu of flowers and gifts, the family would appreciate memorial donations may be made to the wishes of the family.
