At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Michael Schneider
Michael J. Schneider 65, of New Knoxville, died 3:27 P.M. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at St. Ritas Medical Center, Lima, following a brief illness.
He was born November 24, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of John and Phyllis (Schrolucke) Schneider.
He is survived by his siblings: Mark Schneider of Wapakoneta; Julia (James) Hitch of Hilliard, Ohio; Matthew (Brenda) Schneider of New Knoxville. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Bryant (Tiffany) Orick; Elizabeth (Ryan) Timberlake; Grant (Megan) Schneider; Ethan Hitch; Jacob Hitch; Set Schneider; by his uncle, Gene (Pat) Schrolucke of New Knoxville; by various great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Schneider, and by his mother, Phyllis Schneider Dicke.
Mike was a 1977 graduate of New Knoxville High School and a graduate of Northwestern Business College, where he studied diesel mechanics. He was employed at New Knoxville School, where he served as custodian and bus driver. He had also served for more than 25 years on the New Knoxville Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter and first responder. He was a member of American Legion Post 444 Sons of the Legion and the Wapak Eagles. He was a lifelong member of the First Church of New Knoxville. Mike will be remembered for his very friendly, kind personality and for his great love of the OSU Buckeyes.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the First Church of New Knoxville, the Reverend Joel Bucklin, officiant. As a salute to Mike's service with the fire department, his body will be taken to Pilger Ruhe Cemetery on a New Knoxville Fire Truck.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. Friday at the Ministry Center of the First Church of New Knoxville, where memorial gifts may be given to the Auglaize County Special Olympics.
