Kobe Slife
Kobe Lee Slife, 18 days, of St. Marys, OH died unexpectedly Friday September 27, 2024 in the emergency department of JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born September 9, 2024 in Lima, OH to Trenton Alan Slife and Aubrey Michelle Poppe.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: brother Karter Slife (age 4) of St. Marys, OH; grandparents: Chad Slife of St. Marys, OH, Michelle Oleyar-Poppe of St. Marys, OH and Heather (Andy) Heitkamp of St. Marys, OH; great-grandparents: Laura Slife of St. Marys, OH, Sherry Poppe of St. Marys, OH and Sundina (Dave Flanagan) Wuebbenhorst of St. Marys, OH; aunts and uncles: Tyler Poppe, Trevor Poppe, Makayla Poppe all of St. Marys, OH, Ashley Slife and Ryan Slife of St. Marys, OH and Jaden Heitkamp of St. Marys, OH; and a large extended family who reside in the area.
Preceded in death by: grandfather Thomas Poppe; great-grandfather Gary Poppe; great-grandmother Barbara Morgan-Steele; and uncle Dustin Slife
"My memories with you are eternal, protecting me always, my sweet angel. I have to trust God's reason for taking you home so soon." Kobe will be forever loved by his family, to which he brought great joy and happiness. May everyone surround and protect this family during this time of unspeakable loss.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday October 4, 2024 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
