* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 714 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

At 709 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Ohio City, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Chattanooga, Kossuth, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, and Bulkhead.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Larry Wolf
Larry L. Wolf, age 84, of Coldwater, died on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Celina Manor.
He was born December 26, 1939 in Celina to the late Clarence & Glendola (Hoyng) Wolf. On August 21, 1965, he married Mary 'Judy' (Manker) Wolf and she preceded him in death in 2006.
Larry is survived by two sons, Chris & Andrada Wolf of Troy and Matthew Wolf of Mishawaka, Indiana. He also survived by 2 grandchildren, and brother, Robert Wolf of Centerville.
He is preceded in death by brother, William & Margaret Wolf, and sister-in-law, JoAnn Wolf.
Larry retired from Coldwater Elementary school after teaching many years. Larry was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Coldwater, the Holy Name Society, the Coldwater Library Board, Coldwater Kiwanis, and the Mercer County Retired Teachers
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Saturday, October 19 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 2pm to 7pm on Friday, October 18 and from 9am to 9:30am on Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Memorials may be made to the Smile Train.
