* IMPACTS...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. This may result in rapid changes in road conditions over short distances. Motorists should exercise extra caution.

Frank Creeden
Frank King Creeden, age 73 of Celina, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at the Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born on November 19, 1950 to the late James Patrick and Diane Marie (Mallory) Creeden in Celina.
He is survived by his children Traci Morrow of Jacksonville, FL, Corrine (Thomas) McRitchie of Port Clinton, Katie Creeden of Celina, Mallory Creeden of Defiance, Trudy Creeden of Defiance, four grandchildren Thomas "T4" McRitchie, Kianna Creeden, Farah Cruz, Cody Morrow, four great grandchildren Kallia Cruz, Kaleb Cruz, Kade Cruz, Benjamin Morrow, brother Randy (Marlena) Creeden of Celina, sister Paula (John) Lessick of Celina and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Vorhees.
Frank graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1970. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 18 years, he was formerly employed at USIC and retired in 2014. He was a member of the Celina American Legion Post #210, Celina Moose Lodge Post #1473, and the Grand Lake United Methodist Church. Frank was very proud of his high school football achievements at Celina High School. He loved football, Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, and the Cincinnati Reds. Frank was proud to vote by absentee ballot for former President Donald Trump.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Mick Whistler officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Celina V. F. W. and the Celina American Legion.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 7, 2024, and an hour before services on Friday at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #210 2510 St. Rt. 703 Celina, OH 45822.
