Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

Rebecca Rutter
Rebecca Sue Rutter, 63, of Celina, OH died 2:52 a.m. Friday November 22, 2024 at Grande Lake Healthcare Center in St. Marys, OH.
She was born May 6, 1961 in Celina, OH to Ted Leland and Margie Lee (White) Pifer.
Survivors include: Daughter Rachel (Nicholas) Miller of Monroe, MI; son Randy (Rachel) Rutter; grandchildren Cade Rutter and Alexis Garman of St. Marys, OH; brother Roy (Connie) Pifer of Celina, OH; sister Edna (Larry) Slone of St. Marys, OH; sister Judy (Ted) Hiday of Celina, OH; and brother Doug (late Bonny) Pifer of Celina, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Ted Pifer and Margie Pifer; and sister-in-law Bonny Pifer.
She was a graduate of Brookville, OH High School (Class of 1979). A cashier, she worked at Chief Market in Coldwater and Walmart in Celina for many years. Friendly and outgoing, she enjoyed socializing with friends (especially at the VFW in Celina).
Private celebration of life services will be held.
