Jessica Baumer, the mother of Cale Wenning, holds up the Division VI state championship trophy after Coldwater's 31-7 win over Kirtland on Saturday. Wenning, who was the starting center for the Cavaliers, died the day before the opening game. The team has paid tribute to him all season.
