Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Mary Jane Braun
Mary Jane (Huber) Braun, age 78, of Coldwater, died on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born June 10, 1946 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Ralph & Dorothy (Laloge) Huber. On July 16, 2004, she married Robert Braun, and he resides in Coldwater.
Jane is survived by step-children Melissa & Terry Stelzer of Celina and Joey & Jen Braun of Celina along with step-grandchildren Austin Stelzer and Jensyn & Henley Braun. She is also survived by siblings and in-laws, Ann Slouffman of Centerville, Eileen Huber of St. Henry, Janeen Braun of Celina, Barbara & Mike Byerly of Florida, and Mark Braun of Union City. She also cherished her relationships with her special nieces and nephews, Kevin & Danette Huber of Ft. Recovery, Doug & Theresa Huber of Virginia, Denise & Matt Hiatt of Russia, Sandy & Brian Siefring of Coldwater, Kurt Huber of Beavercreek, Lisa & Jeff Munsey of North Carolina, Cheryl & Doug Werner of Centerville, and Joyce & Chris Hayes of Centerville & many great nieces and nephews, and her dogs Rocky and Molly.
She is preceded in death by a sibling William Huber, and in-laws Lee Slouffman and Kathy Wolfe.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the St. Anne's Sodality. Jane formerly worked for BMA Insurance until they closed, and then she later retired from Mercer County Job & Family Services. She also spent time volunteering at the Food Pantry and the garage sales held by the Mercer County Council on Aging. She was also a care giver to her parents and their friend in their older years in their time of need. Jane enjoyed camping and loved her dogs dearly throughout her life.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater.
Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 11 from 4PM to 7PM and on Thursday from 9AM to 10AM, at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
