Rose Lawrence
Rose E. Lawrence, 79, of Celina, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 23, 2024.
Born on November 11, 1945, in Celina, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mable (Piper) Beougher. On July 4, 1978, Rose married Cloyd "Clyde" Lawrence Jr., who preceded her in death on March 26, 2017.
She is survived by her four sons: Robert Buschur of Coldwater, Rick Buschur of Celina, Tony (Angel) Lawrence of Venedocia, and Kurt Hawkins of Lakeview; five grandchildren: Mitchell Dukin, Jasmine McCommehey, Allison Black, Rease Lawrence, and Tessa Lawrence; her brother Jerry (Anna) Beougher of Van Wert; and her sister Bonnie Beougher of Rockford.
Rose was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and James Beougher, as well as her daughter-in-law, Becky Buschur.
A 1963 graduate of Parkway High School, Rose worked for many years in various local businesses, including Carter Villa Restaurant, Plaza Lanes, Visions, and most recently, Walmart in Celina. She retired after dedicating many years to her community.
In her free time, Rose loved to fish, ride motorcycles, swim, and enjoy the warmth of summertime. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held in Rose's honor on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating. The family will welcome friends from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. In celebration of Rose's love for the Ohio State Buckeyes, the family encourages attendees to wear their favorite Buckeyes jersey to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand Lake Hospice, 1122 E. Spring St., St. Marys, Ohio 45885, in honor of Rose's memory.
