Thomas Frysinger
Thomas K. Frysinger, age 82 of Roanoke, Indiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at the Coventry Meadows Assisted Living facility in Fort Wayne, IN.
He was born on July 19, 1942 in Mendon, Ohio to the late Eugene and Wanda (Miller) Frysinger. Tom is survived by his wife of 55 years, Verlinda Jo (Bryan) Frysinger, his two children Chad Frysinger of Roanoke, and Krista (Carlos) Frysinger of San Jose, Costa Rica, and his sister Betty Young of Celina. He also leaves behind his grandson, Rafael (7), who loved cuddling with grandpa on his recliner.
In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his son John Frysinger and brother Jack (Patricia) Frysinger.
Tom graduated from Mendon High School in 1960. He served in the Army National Guard as a radio operator where he was also recognized as an expert in rifle. He attended Coyne College in Chicago to study electrical trade. He started his career at IBM in 1960 as an engineer and worked until his retirement in 2004. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion.
In his spare time, he loved to fish, golf, play pool and watch his favorite TV show, NCIS. He was a devoted family man whose proudest achievement was creating a wonderful life for his family. Many will remember his kind spirit, sense of humor and generosity.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating. Tom will be buried in the Mendon Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
