Debra Bruns
Debra J. Bruns, age 74, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born June 8, 1950 In Celina to the late Stanley E. & Betty Nadine (Howell) Dumbauld. She married John E. Schwegman on October 25, 1975 and he died on February 6, 1992 then she married Dale Bruns on October 28, 1995 and he survives in Coldwater.
Deb is also survived by children, Lindsay Schwegman and Jack Schwegman both of Coldwater; granddaughter Lia Frank; and siblings and in-laws, Dan (Rebecca) Dumbauld of Indianapolis, IN, Donna Gilmore of Coldwater, Dave (Jill) Bruns of Coldwater, Dodie (Jerry) Bruggeman of St. Henry, Denise (Dan) Brackman of Coldwater, Don (Beth) Bruns of Coldwater, Dan (Kim) Bruns of Coldwater, Diane (Jim) Greiwe, Jane (Perry) Brashares both of St. Simons Island, GA and Barry Stoner of Indiana. She is preceded in death by in laws Deb Stoner and Jack Gilmore.
Deb graduated from Celina High School in 1968 then worked at Citizens National Bank in Celina, Peoples Bank in Coldwater, Mercer County Educational Service Center and Ft. Recovery Industries. She enjoyed boating, being on the water and spending time with her family.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 am Monday, January 6, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater Ohio.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp funeral home in Coldwater on Sunday from 1 to 4 PM and on Monday from 10 to 10:45. In Lieu of flower memorials may be made to the Center for Neurological Development, Burkettsville.
