Pamela Powell
Pamela Powell, 68, of Saint Marys, died suddenly at 10:04 P.M. Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in the Emergency Department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys.
She was born March 3, 1957, in Lima, the daughter of Ed and Helen (Mault) Wade. She married Ron Powell on April 20, 1996 at the Church of Christ in Saint Marys. Ron survives in Saint Marys.
She is also survived by her children: Matthew Powell of Saint Marys; Miriam (Ben) Eversman of Celina; by her granddaughter, Emery Eversman, and by an unborn grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her siblings: Penny Gray; Patty Vaughn; Dave Wade; Peggy Moynihan; Paula Germann. She is survived by Ron's siblings: Tom (Kerri) Powell; Kim (Mark) Wierwille, John (Diana) Powell; Terry (Tony) Powell of San Diego.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by Ron's parents, Pastor Robert and Eleanore Powell.
Pam graduated from Perry High School and Lima Technical College. She was an RN, and had worked at the Saint Marys Living Center, Dr Masser's office in Celina and retired on February 28, 2025, from Mercer Health.
She loved her family and was looking forward to spending time with her grandchildren and taking vacations to Florida. She will be remembered as an exceptionally kind nurse and friend. She is a member of the Fort Recovery Church of Christ.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Dave Nicholson, officiant. Burial will follow.
Friends may call from 2-6 P.M. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to either the Woodbern Childrens' Home or the Child Place, Inc, 2420 East 10th Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana, 47130.
