* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following county, in west central Ohio, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1101 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, Wabash, Mendon, Montezuma, Tama and Neptune.

Frances Gibson
Frances G. Gibson, 74, of St. Marys, OH died 4:00 a.m. Thursday May 29, 2025 at her residence, with family at her side.
She was born January 21, 1951 in Middlesboro, KY to Andrew M. and Virgie Lee ((Meyers) Norton. On September 11, 1968 in Hancock Co., TN she married Jack C. Gibson, who died May 28, 2010.
Survivors include: daughter Melissa (Micheal) Ricker of St. Marys, OH; daughter Debra Miller of St. Marys, OH; son Michael (Erica Weaks) Gibson of St. Marys, OH; 4 grandchildren: Joshua (Katie) Ricker, Jeremy (Arrietti) Ricker, Adam (Layne Chapman) Miller, Zach Miller; 6 great-grandchildren: Michael, Braycen and Marshall Miller; Amelia, Jackson and Hailey Ricker; sister Barbara Samaniego of St. Marys, OH; sister Phyllis (Gary Henkle) Martin of St. Marys, OH; sister Peggy King of Middlesboro, KY; brother James (Linda) Norton of Warren, MI; sister Kate (Hubert) Durham of Harrigate, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: parents Andrew and Virgie Lee Norton; husband Jack Gibson; great-granddaughter Montgomery Miller; son-in-law Jody "Burf" Miller; brother Bob Norton; brother Bill Norton; brother Andy Norton; sister Mary Helen "Pat" Burns; and sister Betty Blackmon.
She was a graduate of Bell Co. High School (Class of 1968) in Pineville, KY. Mrs. Gibson retired from SETEX Corp. in St. Marys, where she was a supervisor. Prior to that, she worked for many years at Mersman Bros. Furniture Mfg. in Celina. Her favorite pastimes included flower gardening, bird watching, jigsaw puzzles, watching football and rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Graveside funeral rites are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday June 3, 2025 at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 4 - 8 Monday at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
