* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following county, in west central Ohio, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1101 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, Wabash, Mendon, Montezuma, Tama and Neptune.

Small town, big fun

The first night of the New Knoxville Independence Day Celebration at the community park was highlighted by the Backyard Bash Cornhole Tournament, kids games and rock 'n' roll courtesy of SuperVillin. The fun continues today with the first full parade in the village in nearly 20 years, co-ed volleyball tournament, girls and boys Little League tournaments, more cornhole, touch-a-truck event, basketball competitions, live music by area band 127 North and the Famous Fireworks Display at 10 p.m. For more photos of the festival visit dailystandard.com/albums/.
