Charles Kirk
Charles T. Kirk, age 81, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025 at his home in Coldwater.
He was born on November 19, 1943 in Dayton to the late Charles G. & Paulene (Schneider) Kirk. On July 6, 1963 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, he married his wife Carol (Bollenbacher) Kirk and she survives him in Coldwater.
He is survived by children, Timothy & Angela Kirk of St. Marys and Kimberly & Paul Lenz of Akron, grandchildren, Mitchell & Ashley Kirk of Petersburg, Michigan, Kaitlyn & James Klausing of Miamisburg, Andrew, Abigail, Adam and Luke Lenz all of Akron, great-grandchildren, Kaden and Lainey, and siblings and in-laws, Charlene May of Rossburg and Darrell Bollenbacher of Celina
Charles was preceded in death by sister, Eleanor Buerning, and in-laws, Victor S. May, Larry Bollenbacher, and Jean Shape.
Charles was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. He retired after nearly 10 years at Omni Manufacturing and over 52 years with New Idea. He was a longtime Coldwater Athletic Booster and member of the National Corvette Museum Club. Charles was an avid fan of all Coldwater Cavalier athletics and events. He was an enthusiast of Chevrolet cars and NASCAR racing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater.
Friends may call from 3 PM to 7 PM on Monday and from 9 AM to 10 AM Tuesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mercer County Cancer Association. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
