Getting ready for football season

The Coldwater and Celina football teams took part in a 7-on-7 scrimmage on Wednesday night on the football field at the Varsity Track in Celina. The format focuses on the skill players with no offensive lineman being used. High school teams use the scrimmages throughout the summer to get ready for the first official practice of the season on Aug. 1. The first Friday of football is Aug. 22.
