Hundreds of spectators flocked to downtown Wapakoneta on Thursday evening to watch the popular bed races during the city's annual Summer Moon Festival. Sixteen teams of five raced down and back up Perry Street on their beds battling various obstacles, including water, frisbees, wooden planks and a hotdog. The festival will continue through Sunday with more activities and entertainment. The schedule of events can be found on the festival's website.
