Patricia Fisher
Patricia Ann "Trish" Fisher, age 59, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away at her home on Friday, August 29, 2025. She was born on February 8, 1966, in Coldwater, to Helen (Olwine) Schlarman and the late Gerald Schlarman.
In addition to her father, Trish was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Fisher, whom she married on August 15, 1998 and passed away on January 5, 2011; her brother, Johnny Schlarman; her nieces, Kirsten Schlarman and Hannah Schlarman; and her nephew, Joshua Schlarman.
In addition to her mother, Trish is survived by her children, Jessica (Dan) Otte of Yorkshire, Ashley (Cody) Dues of Coldwater, and Justin (Kelly) Alt of St. Henry; her grandchildren, Penelope, Oliver, Piper, and Charlie Otte, Savannah Dues, and Bentley, Quinn, Aubrey, and Jaelynn Alt; the father of her children, Mark (Kim) Alt of Sharpsburg; her siblings, Angie (Gary) Clark of Portland, Jerry "Bear" (Amy) Schlarman of New Weston, Jennifer Homan and Steve of Fort Recovery, Kim (Jeremy Wirrig) Lindsay of Versailles, Nick (Dawn) Schlarman of Wendelin, Julie (Doug May) Schlarman of St. Peter, Joe (Mary Jo) Schlarman of New Matamoras, Ohio , Casey Jones of Van Wert, Carissa (Greg) Muhlenkamp of Fort Recovery, Jason (Liz) Schlarman of St. Joe, Michael Schlarman of Richmond, Indiana, and Tyler (Lindsey) Schlarman of Versailles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A 1984 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, Trish dedicated nearly 24 years to nurturing her community through her beloved business, Nature's Corner. As a certified nutritionist, she not only served her customers with passion but also educated and inspired many to embrace healthier lifestyles.
Beyond her professional achievements, Trish was a devoted family woman who treasured her children and grandchildren above all else. Her warmth radiated through her home, filled with delicious baked goods, lovingly prepared meals, and the laughter of family gatherings. She enjoyed doing cross stitch and loved to play Scrabble, which often turned into friendly competitions that brought her family closer.
Trish found joy in the simple pleasures of life-watching television (especially her favorite game shows and heartwarming Hallmark movies), spending time with her cat, Daisy, collecting shoes, and celebrating the spirit of Christmas with music that echoed her love for the season. Her infectious laughter and kind heart will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Trish's life will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. Burial will follow in Lisbon Cemetery.
Guests may visit with Trish's family on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service at 10:00 AM.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Neurological Development.
