* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.

* IMPACTS...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. This may result in rapid changes in road conditions over short distances. Motorists should exercise extra caution.

Kerns breaks ground on Logan St.

Site preparation began this week for the construction of a 20,000-square-foot, first-of-its-kind, Kerns Chevrolet GMC dealership on Logan Street in Celina. It will be located on an existing 9-acre section of land beside the Kerns Ford dealership. Top, once complete, the sleek building will be the first of its design in the country, with modern glass windows from ceiling to floor showing off a showroom that can house at least four vehicles comfortably. The previous Kerns Chevrolet GMC dealership on Walnut Street was gutted by a fire that broke out in the early morning hours of April 3, 2024.
