* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1245 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1003 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

Gerald Siegel
Gerald R. Siegel, age 82, of New Bremen, Ohio, died on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 7, 1942 in Minster Ohio to the late Clifford & Mary (Fortman) Siegel. He married Marilyn Leugers on April 29, 1967 and she preceded him in death on June 24, 2025.
He is survived by children: Jerry Siegel, Minster, Jess & Sheri Siegel New Bremen, son-in-law Andy Elking, New Bremen. Grandchildren: Zach & Allison Siegel, Troy & Madison Siegel, great grandchildren: Thaiden & Frances, siblings: Mike Siegel, New Bremen, in-laws: Linda Siegel, Ft. Loramie, Maurice Quinter, Sr, Ft Loramie, Ed & Sonia Leugers, Minster, Janice Otting, Minster.
He was preceded in death by daughter Jill Elking, siblings: Pat & Dussel Muter, Jim Siegel, Dorothy Quinter, Larry Siegel, in-laws: Jay Siegel, Doris & Jim Frock, Janet & Don Koverman, Rosie & Mike Monnin, David Leugers.
Gerald was a member of the New Bremen Rod & Gun Club and loved the outdoors. Private family service will be held, and burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
