* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 19 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to noon EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. This may result in rapid changes in road conditions over short distances. Motorists should exercise extra caution.

Members of the public enjoyed an open house hosted by St. Henry EMS in celebration of their 50th anniversary on Saturday afternoon. Southern Mercer County Joint Ambulance District currently covers the four townships of Granville, Marion, Gibson and Recovery which include the towns of Ft. Recovery, St. Henry, Burkettsville and Chickasaw. St. Henry EMS has been in its current building, located at 436 Western Ave., St. Henry, since 2017. It was built with donations from residents in their coverage area. The agency averages about 340 ambulance responses per year. Over the past 50 years, the agency has had 222 members.
