* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Lee Ann Jenkins
Lee Ann Jenkins, 75, of St. Marys Twp. (Villa Nova on the Lake), died unexpectedly Thursday October 9, 2025 at her residence. She was born September 10, 1950 in Celina, OH to Lee and Dolores (Etter) Schmehl. On October 25, 1969 in St. Marys, she married Kurtis Dean Jenkins, who survives.
Also survived by: Son Troy (Tina) Jenkins of St. Marys, OH; Son Tyson (Teresa) Jenkins of rural Mercer Co., OH; 7 grandchildren: Justin, Caleb, Cody, Jonathan, Aiden, Brent, Cassie; 16 great-grandchildren: Karliah, Summer, Skyler, Braxton, Carson, Rowen, Jace, Payton, Hazel, Emory, Ridley, Roary, Jasalin, Gabriella, Madaline, Maverick; Sister Vickie (Wesley) Lewis of Lima, OH; Sister Kristine (Jerry) Freels of New Bremen, OH; Sister Ireta (Jeff) Hegemier of Hudson, OH; Brother Jerry Lee Schmehl of St. Marys, OH; Brother Bruce (Carol) Schmehl of St. Marys, OH; and Brother Tony (Renee) Schmehl of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Lee and Dolores Schmehl; infant brother Terry Lee Schmehl.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1969). For many years, she worked at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys in the dietary department and as a nursing assistant. She also was a nursing assistant for several long-term care facilities in the area.
Lee Ann enjoyed celebrating the holidays, and she and Kurtis were well-known for their elaborate yard display at Halloween. Above everything else, she treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 14, 2025 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Pastor Andrew Atkins will officiate the services. Visitation 4 - 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
