The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Robert Stout
Robert L. Stout, age 95, of St. Henry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
He was the son of the late Harvey and Idabelle (Creeden) Stout, born on December 20, 1929. He graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Celina, Ohio, in 1947, and served two years in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
On August 1, 1953, he married Helen (Liette) Stout. Together they had three sons and a daughter. Bob and Helen were married until her passing on August 8, 1998. Bob married Edna (Kremer -Koester) Stout on March 4, 2000, and she survives in St. Henry.
Bob is survived by his four children and their spouses, Ron & Judy Stout, Bill & Linda Stout, and Jim & Linda Stout all of St. Henry, and Rebecca & Bill Stalder of Harbor Springs, MI, his step-children Jackie(Koester) McDowell, Alan & Angie (Heitkamp) Koester, and Angela (Koester) Brunswick. Other surviving family members include his 12 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 17 step-great grandchildren and two on the way, and two great-great-grandchildren and in-laws Judy (Liette) & John Knight, Rose Brown, and Hilda Schmitz.
In addition to his parents and first wife, Bob is preceded in death by a brother James Stout, a sister Joan (Stout) & John Keefrey, a step-son Jay Koester, in-laws: Ruth & Charles "Etes" Hiestand, Norma & Art Rammel, Dolores Redinbaugh, Lowell & Madonna Liette, Ralph & Ella Mae Liette, Susie & Charles Gilliland, Connie & Urban Winner, Nick & Thanet Kramer, Henry Kramer, Clara & John Hinkle, Luke Kramer, Leo & Kathleen Kramer, Alvera & Ralph Schmitz, Don Brown, Anne Jutte, Agnes & Cletus Schmitz, Richard Kramer, Edgar Schmitz, Mark & Clara Kramer, Joseph Kramer, and Helen Kramer, one step grandchild, and three great grandchildren.
Bob was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and the St. Henry American Legion. He retired from the former New Idea factory in Coldwater after 47 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, November 17, 2025, at St. Henry Catholic Church. Following the funeral mass, burial with military honors will take place in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends and family may visit with Bob's family on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, and again on Monday, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St Henry Ohio.
