In his earlier days, Spark graduated from St Henry and was a proud beer salesman for Mercer Beverage for nearly 40 years. After the closing of Mercer Beverage, he enjoyed the last several years working for Hoosier Pride with all the new friends he made there. He was also avid St Henry Redskins, Ohio State Buckeyes, Bengals, & Reds fan. Once grandkids came into the picture, everyone liked spending time together at Wednesday night suppers. He also enjoyed his daily coffee visits to Shell, and on Saturdays he loved it when a few of the grandkids could join him.
Spark was a member of the St Henry Catholic Church. Friends may call from 7:30-11:30am on Friday, December 26, at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St Henry.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12pm on Friday, December 26, at St Henry Catholic Church with Fr. John Grusenmeyer officiating. Following the funeral mass he will be laid to rest at St Henry Cemetery.
