Diana Hart
Diana M. (Winner) Hart, age 69, passed away on June 3, 2026, at the Hospice of Cincinnati. Diana was born in Darke County on March 21, 1957, to the late Jerome Winner and Velma Dammeyer. On December 20, 1975, Diana married Daniel L. Hart, who preceded her in death on December 25, 2022 after 47 years of marriage.
Diana is survived by two loving daughters, Phoebe D. Hart (Alex Stevens) of Covington, Kentucky, and Annie D. Mienko (Paul Mienko) of Lebanon, Ohio; and two brothers, James (Joan) Winner of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Dean Winner of North Star, Ohio. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Daphne Hart Stevens and Elijah James Mienko, her niece Jodi (Tim) Kessler and her nephew Jimmy (Wynde) Winner, and Kevin and Marsha Hart and Richard Hart.
After graduating from Versailles High School in 1975, Diana earned an associate's degree in accounting from Wilmington College and worked for many years as an accountant. Before they started their own family, Dan and Diana spent much of their free time with their niece and nephew Jodi and Jimmy. They took them fishing and camping, attended their sporting events, and shared special moments during the holidays.
Diana found her greatest joy in raising her children and being an active part of their lives. She treasured every opportunity to attend family gatherings, celebrations, and special occasions, creating lasting memories with those she loved most. A devoted member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, Diana made her faith an important part of her life, and it guided her love and service to others. Creative and talented, she had a passion for video editing and spent countless hours crafting meaningful videos that captured cherished moments. Her dedication to this craft eventually led her to start her own video editing business, combining her artistic talent with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Through her love, faith, creativity, and devotion to family, Diana touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of warmth, dedication, and treasured memories. People often described Diana as a bright light and someone who remained exuberantly positive regardless of circumstance. Diana was endlessly giving, humble, and concerned for the wellbeing of both her loved ones and perfect strangers. She was loyal, thoughtful, and meticulous with the compassion of a nun (a calling to which she may have embodied in another life). No matter the tribulations, Diana met every day with utter gratitude and joy, always seeking to aid another.
