Troy Geier, a 10-year-old boy on the McSports team in the Coldwater Little League who was diagnosed with cancer in August 2025, throws the first pitch before Thursday night's league championship game between Johnson Mechanical and CARS Inc. at Coldwater Memorial Park. Troy and his parents, Steve and Ashlie Geier, were also presented a check for over $3,000 from the league to help with expenses of his ongoing, long-term care.
