Sarah Lynn Moran, 44, of St. Marys, OH flew into the arms of Jesus at 8:40 a.m. Thursday October 1, 2026 in the emergency department of JTDM Hospital in St. Marys, OH. She was born September 15, 1982 in St. Marys, OH to Scott and Janet (Triplett) Moran.

Survivors include: mother Janet Moran of St. Marys, OH; sister Abby (Jesse Dresback) Moran of St. Marys, OH; sister Ellen Moran of St. Marys, OH; nieces and nephews: Wesley Moran, Piper Fuson, Macy Fuson, Reagan Detisch, Carter Deller; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins from the Moran and Triplett families.

Preceded in death by: father Scott Moran; brother John Wesley Moran, paternal grandparents Frank and Joan Moran; maternal grandparents Jerry and Mary Triplett, cousins: Brock Moran, Lucas Moran, Chad Hagens.

She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 2001).

Sarah spent her career in food service. Currently, she was employed as a prep cook at Wendy's Restaurant in New Bremen. Previously, she worked at Legend's Restaurant and in the deli department at Kroger Grocery Store, both in St. Marys. Sarah was focused on customer service and developed a wonderful rapport with the "regulars".

An avid sports fan, she rooted for the University of Michigan Wolverines (GO BLUE) and Dallas Cowboys football teams. Her favorite pastimes included fishing with her Dad, playing card games, taking pictures, and meeting people/developing new friendships. Sarah was a gentle soul with a huge heart who sent notes, letters and greeting cards to countless individuals. More than anything else, she absolutely treasured the time spent with her nieces and nephews.

Funeral Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday October 7, 2026 at the Wayne Street Church in St. Marys. The Rev. Tim Benjamin will officiate the services. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. Brother Gary Mosley will officiate the services at the gravesite.

Visitation 4 - 7 p.m. on Tuesday and 9 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Wayne Street Church.
