Mark McEldowney
  Mark P. McEldowney, 62, 312 Peters Road, Fort Recovery, died at 2:36 a.m. Oct. 8, 2009, at his residence. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born April 3, 1947, in Piqua to Arthur and Louise Zahn McEldowney, who are both deceased. On April 3, 1970, he married Rita Siegrist, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Chris (Jackie), McEldowney, Greg McEldowney and Terry (Jamie) McEldowney, all of Fort Recovery; two daughters, Michelle (Mark) Pleiman, Versailles, and Mindy (Verlin) Luster, Fort Recovery; three sisters, Jean Eastridge, New Weston, Patty (Rodney) Bothast, Peoria, Ill., and Carol (Terry) Coby, Portland, Ind.; four brothers, Vernon (Susan) McEldowney, Dayton, Lester McEldowney, Farmland, Ind., Ed (Connie) McEldowney and Charlie (Rosalie) McEldowney, all of Rossburg; two stepsisters, Marilyn Fiely, Cranberry, and Carol (Tom) Hemmelgarn, Maria Stein; two stepbrothers, Tom (Olene) Grieshop, Rockford, and Ed Grieshop, Yorkshire; and 13 grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Mary Lou Wagner; and a stepbrother, Bill Grieshop.
He was a poultry farmer and had worked as a barber in Dayton, at the Union City Body Company, Union City, Ind., and at the former Frame, Greenville. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, and its Holy Name Society. He graduated from Mississinawa Valley High School and Dayton School of Barbering.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 1-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:45 a.m. Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
