Contracts will be for a period of one (1) year from the date of Contract with option for renewal.

Each bid must be enclosed in an appropriately marked and sealed envelope and must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same. All bids shall be made on Bid Forms furnished with the Invitation to Bid and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid as a guarantee that, if a bid is accepted, the bidder will enter into a Contract. The City of Celina is requesting sealed bids for Liquid Polymer, approximately 18,400 pounds/year, for screw press dewatering of aerobically digested wastewater sludge. Polymer jar testing and performance testing must be completed prior to bidding. The jar testing must be completed by the polymer supplier at the Celina Wastewater Treatment Plant with the assistance of Wastewater Treatment Plant personnel. Following jar testing, polymer suppliers must provide a 5-gallon pail of choice polymer(s) (maximum of two) to be bided to the Celina Wastewater Treatment Plant to allow City personnel to complete performance testing. Pails of polymer must be received no less than FIFTEEN (15) days prior to the bid date.
