Proposed Flood Hazard Determinations for Auglaize County, Ohio and Incorporated Areas
The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency has issued a preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), and where applicable, Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report, reflecting proposed flood hazard determinations within Auglaize County, Ohio and Incorporated Areas. These flood hazard determinations may include the addition or modification of Base Flood Elevations, base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area boundaries or zone designations, or the regulatory floodway. Technical information or comments are solicited on the proposed flood hazard determinations shown on the preliminary FIRM and/or FIS report for Auglaize County, Ohio and Incorporated Areas. These flood hazard determinations are the basis for the floodplain management measures that your community is required to either adopt or show evidence of being already in effect in order to qualify or remain qualified for participation in the National Flood Insurance Program. However, before these determinations are effective for floodplain management purposes, you will be provided an opportunity to appeal the proposed information. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the County of Mercer will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mercer County Commissioners Office, Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, Ohio.
Based on both citizen input and local officials' assessment of the county's needs, the county is proposing to undertake the following Revolving Loan Fund activity:
The county intends to loan the amount of $125,000 to S3B Family LLC dba Daylight Donuts for the purchase of equipment to operate a donut shop to be built at 222 W. Logan St., Celina. Daylight Donuts will create 5 FTE jobs, of which 3 will be offered to or made available to LMI persons; which meets the National Objective.
The total project cost will be $736,322 with funds coming from Revolving Loan Fund of $125,000; Equity $175,000 and Private Lender $436,322.
This second public hearing is being held to give citizens an adequate opportunity to review and comment on the county's proposed application, before the loan is approved.
