Velma Dwenger
Velma T. Dwenger, 95, 6675 Glynwood Road, Glynwood, died Jan. 8, 2007, at her residence.
She was born May 31, 1911, in Mercer County, to Frank and Bernadine Poeppelman Woeste. Her husband Ferd Dwenger, died in 1986.
Survivors are three sons, Jerry (Margene), Minster, Thomas (Jan), Hartville, and Paul (Pat), New Bremen; a brother, Clete (Evelyn) Woeste, St. Rose; a sister, Mary Hubbart, Fort Wayne, Ind.; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was a retired cook at Moulton Schools, and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Glynwood.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Oscar H. Seger officiating. Burial is at St. Thomas Cemetery, Glynwood.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:30 a.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys.
